IEEE ICBC 2026 seeks proposals for tutorial presentations of general interest to the communication and security research communities and application developers, with a focus on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency issues. All topics relevant to the conference will be considered however priority will be given to proposals that address an emerging research area and emphasize open research questions and future directions related to evolving areas of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies.

Proposals must provide an in-depth and contemporary survey of the chosen area, covering a broad corpus of the related literature. In addition, presenters have the option of describing example contributions and works but presented within a global perspective (i.e., beyond their own contributions).

Proposed tutorials should have a duration of 2 hours or 4 hours (including hands-on activities). For tutorials including hands-on activities, proposers should specify the technical requirements (e.g., software environment, hardware, network connectivity).

The written proposal submission (maximum 4 pages) should in a concise manner describe the target audience, the content, and the objectives of the tutorial, and must include:

  • Title of the tutorial
  • Abstract, objectives, and motivation
  • Timeline and intended audience
  • Name, affiliation, and a short biography of each tutorial speaker
  • A description of the technical issues that the tutorial will address, emphasizing its timeliness
  • An outline of the tutorial content
  • If appropriate, a description of the past/relevant experience of the speaker(s) on the topic of the tutorial
  • A description of any previous tutorial experience of the speaker(s), and past versions of the tutorial
  • State if a similar tutorial has been offered in other conferences (last two years) and how your tutorial differs

 

TUTORIAL PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

  • Tutorial proposals should be submitted in a single PDF file, not exceeding four pages.
  • All tutorial proposals must be submitted through EDAS.
  • Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process.
